General Dentistry Options
Prevention begins at home, with your daily oral care routine. The staff here at Stadium Dental will educate patients on how to effectively floss, brush, and stay consistent with oral hygiene. We rely on your home efforts to compliment and support our efforts in-office. We can’t always be with you to make good choices on behalf of your teeth. Ideally, these will be the teeth that stay with you through your whole life and it is important that we collaborate to keep them top notch. We have the skills and equipment to handle after-the-fact issues such as cavities and gum disease but we will all be happier if we prevent this conditions in the first place through proper prevention.
Accommodations for All
Our staff, under the leadership of Dr. Paul Cardon, endeavors to meet your family’s dental needs. We love educating our younger patients about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth for life, including strategies on how to make that a reality. On the other end of the spectrum, we work with our elderly patients to restore the teeth and ensure that promise of life-long oral health. For patients of all ages and needs, we want to provide a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. We offer noise-canceling headphones and Pandora radio in order to distract and calm our patients. Anxiety which is severe in nature can be quelled further in-procedure through our wide range of sedation alternatives.
Cleanings and Screenings
Though the journey toward optimal oral health does begin with you, it is abundantly necessary to collaborate with a professional by coming into our office twice yearly. There are far too many hard-to-reach places which need cleaned, and too many undetected signs of decay or disease which must be found and attended to by a professional. Here with us you can enjoy a professional cleaning in which a certified hygienist (ours are the best in Jefferson City, if we do say so) will gently cleanse and polish your teeth. These are imperative every six months for best results and longevity of your teeth. We also recommend patients have digital x-rays taken yearly. This helps Dr. Cardon to more precisely detect infection and other issues before they exacerbate. This also allows him to observe the general wellness of the jawbone and the teeth. We use digital x-rays as an alternative to traditional x-rays in order to impart less potentially-harmful radiation onto the patient. Everything we do, every innovation we employ, is in an effort to create a more pleasant, safer environment and experience for you. As a protective effort against tooth decay, we offer fluoride treatments to our younger patients. Children between the ages of six and fourteen are extra susceptible to cavities. To evade this problem for your child, we offer topical fluoride treatments and sealants, both of which provide sustained security in the event of an attempted infiltration by fast-decaying bacteria.
